For each node, long path left, log path right. Diameter is l + r. Nice! - 25 mins - I code my recusive formula too quickly. After debugging. It was wrong formula. Not as simple. - 30 min I think I have an idea - long path = 2 + max of l or r on left. + max of l or r on right - Ok looking at solution. Nah. - Formula - Max (left diameter, right diameter, longest path from this node) - longest path here is max of left height or right height.
