I have to say that kudos to @saie for coming in as a forcing function to get the final paperwork, photo, notary and packet submission through!. - Enjoy the timeline. Not summarizing here but scrolling though it please come back and scroll through it for nostalgia. - As a reminder, I frist tried to get my passport by visiting VFS Global in NYC myself. To this I first got NYC license. Then I had to get police report for which I had to get embassy letter. That was fund. And then I moved to Boston while learning that I don't really have police report but only a receipt. So I applied for police report to get it delivered electronically, then in Boston, with At Home Notary, which was AWESOME! , we got all done and through. - I Re-did photo and notary. All, @saie gets extra kudos for buying the printer. - **Outcome Visioning:** I review and pack all the paperwork needed for lost passport. The documents are comprehensive. Police complaints. Attested copies. Pictures. And what not. I create a packet like a boss and document it here as well for future reference. I mail it securely with tracking and feel confident that it will get through and I will I have my new passport mailed to me in few weeks. Fresh and pristine.
