  - Why
- Write for One Person - David Perell https://ift.tt/3jRqT80
  - Like water, writing comes alive at the extremes. Avoid brackish prose that tries to be everything to everybody, even though it means that most people will be indifferent to what you publish
you can either write for yourself or one other person.
Pick one obsessive person to write for, and let them be a proxy for the kind of reader you want to attract.
When I write for others, I start the essay with their name at the top of the page.
Meeting the kinds of people youd never meet in real life is the whole point of writing online, so escape the lukewarm middle and write for one obsessive person.

It appears that, as is the case in our time with the ills of all nations, the reason lies in the lack of a reasonable religious teaching. By explaining the meaning of life, such a teaching would supply a supreme law for the guidance of conduct and would replace the more than dubious precepts of pseudo-religion and pseudo- science and the immoral conclusions deduced from them, which are commonly called “civilization.”

		  personality

		  your personality enlarges and hide
you are neither humber nor bombastic- the reader knows you already
love underwrites and flows- else you won’t be writing; you wanna express and talk
  - writing letter to my younger self cuts off this laziness in my explaining
		  i don’t skip
i chrish the elaboration, not trying to be efficient or taking the position of obvious
